Black and white ink painting of a mother in a chair and her child with houses on their heads and a flag.

house series

Houses keep appearing. I think about women and houses. The roles we play when we become mothers. The homes we create. The weight of the house. The expectations, the joy, the people who live there and those that visits us.

When you share a deep memory with someone and they love you, they hold your arm and listen to you, like really listen, and they see the space you’re visiting in your mind.

I am a contemporary figurative artist.

"My work explores memory, emotional narrative, female spaces, home and family. I am interested in people, their lives, and what happens inside them. I want to bring this inside, outside, making it visible thru paint, ink, collage, whatever means I have available.
